Conducting a survey...
So, you have a choice: Send your kids through a traditional system of eduction, send them to a private institution, or educate them in your home. Which would you choose and why?
I don't have much preference here other than to say, why pay for education? So, for me, private school is out. I had a great public school education and you apparently did well on the home schooling scene. I think the bigger factor is whether one has loving parents to spend time with them, teaching them to value what is right and to think/act wisely.
Traditional system because there is no way I could teach them at home. I would find it difficult being super motivated every day plus I am not well versed in all subjects. There is a lot of work to do in the way of homework even when the children are in the school system. Private institutions cost too much.

We home school our daughter Asha, who is eight. She's such a joyful girl, and a true blessing. School was never an option and long may that continue (for as long as the government allows us to!).

Sarah Retzloff currently resides in Goliad,Texas with her husband Clint. She enjoys seeing walls come to life with color. Good thoughts Dennis. I was homeschooled as a student. I am grateful to my parents for making that choice.
