Hi Texas Gal,
My name is Carol and I am the conductor of the Friends of the Friendless Marching Band. I choose a friendless site to feature every Friendly Friday.
You have been nominated for the featured Friendless Site.
Being nominated as a friendless site only means that your blog
doesn't have many comments but you have been singled out as being
worthy of more attention.
I hope you will come play along.

I would've guessed that Sahara is the largest but then that is the only desert I have heard of. (before now that is)

the bassonist says, prepare a way for the marching band, we are a happy parade of tuneless wonders looking for a song to play. May your friday be filled with lunacy, and mirth!

Hi Texas Gal, I'm from the FFMB also. I play piano, yes weird I know for a band but always wanted to play piano. Interesting info about the largest deserts in the world. I've only been to death valley camping(too many times) as a kid when hardly anyone was around at all..total peace and silence while riding our little honda motorcyle in our bikini's with helmets and boots on! Imagine the scene!..lol..

I enjoyed your blog and post. Hope you will join our band.

With Angel Blessings,
Rhiannon

I'm Lazy Daisy and I play the tenor saxaphone....not well, but at least a joyful noise.

Congrats on being site of the week.

Is your part of Texas flat, and dry like a desert?

Welcome....and the band plays on!

Thanks for joining up,Texasgal. We could use a violinist.

You will be on the FFMB roster and can join the parade route on Friendly Fridays when we go visiting friendless sites.

Please nominate interesting sites that you know or come across.(ie. sites that don't get many comments)Leave their address as a comment on my site.

You can get to know the other members of the band through the links of the roster on my blog.

Hope you had fun!

Thanks for all the comments! My part of Texas is flat but we have nice green grass, lazy rivers, and beautiful oak trees so it doesn't resemble the desert at all. Unless we haven't had rain for a very long time...I just listed the deserts at random.
