AG’s office: Buc-ee’s gas issues ‘resolved’

A Texas Attorney General’s Office spokesman said Friday the agency did not plan to levy fines or take any other action after more than two dozen complaints it received Thursday alleging Buc-ee’s was withholding fuel to make a larger profit.
Spokesman Tom Kelley said investigators visited three Buc-ee’s stores in Brazoria County on Thursday. The investigation was carried out under a Deceptive Trade Practices Act provision, aimed at preventing businesses from taking advantage of consumers during declared emergencies.
